Joseph Robert Fleming, 62, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018. He was born on June 8, 1956, the son of Bobby Ray Fleming and Helen Louise (Brady) Fleming.
Joe is survived by his Wife of 31 years - Debra Diane (Rogers) Fleming; three Daughters, Kimberly (Matt) Hartung, Melissa (Jerry) Whitfield, Crystal Montague; Son, Shawn (Joy) Fleming; Brother, Gary (Brenda) Fleming; Sister, Cathy Reagle; Grandchildren, Collin, Cody, Shyanne, Madison, Reygan, Delanie, Kyler, Stormie, Danicka, Taigen, and Pifer; Great-Grandchildren, Carter and Mckenna; Mother, Helen Fleming; Close friends, Rick Harrison, Jim Boldrey, and Jimmy Dickerson; He was preceded in death by his Father, Bobby Ray Fleming, Brother, Michael Fleming, and close friend, Larry Wilson.
Joe had a passion for old cars and hotrods. He also enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, and just being in nature. Above everything, Joe adored his family and friends, but his grandkids and great grandkids made his world go around. After his retirement he transported and cared for seniors and that was something that he was also very passionate about.
A graveside service will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, on Monday, August 13, 2018, 2:30 p.m..
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
