Obituary for William Edward Scarbrough
William Edward Scarbrough, 81, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at home. He was born on October 1, 1936, the son of James and Ethel Scarbrough.
Bill graduated from Lakeview High School. He worked construction for P&M Construction and later became a delivery driver for Dolly Madison Cake Company and Holsum Bread.
Bill is survived by his Daughter, Tracy Lynn (John) Hudgens; three Sons, Steven Edward Scarbrough, Jeffery Lee (Kathy) Scarbrough, and Timothy Wayne Scarbrough; Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and a host of other loving friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Barbara Joan Scarbrough, brother, James Lee Scarbrough, and sister, Shirley May Seymour.
Bill enjoyed drag racing, hunting, fishing, spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 11:00 am with Rev. James Codde officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
